This tutorial is about grabbing attachemt from yahoogroup-messages
on site. I found out how to do it today and I thought a tutorial about
this would be very handy :-)

First you are going to need the GetDown2000 program. You can
download it here. This program is freeware :-)

Now, after you've installed GetDown2000 you will see this icon in your systemtray.
Click on this and this window will open:

First make sure you change the folder in to which you are going to download all
your stuff. Go to tool, options and there you can change the dir :-) I download all these
files in c:\downloadz

Now I will go to one of my yahoogroups pages, I am going to one of my fave groups:
Jazzltubes. I joined not so long ago and they have an archive of wonderful tubes.....which I want, ofcourse !! LOL
So, I need to start with the first page of messages. On the first page of the group, you will find this bar:

Click on the first archive of messages (in this case, it's Jun 2001 - 220).

You can't grab anything from this archive page. You need to do something first. Scroll to the bottom of your page and there you will see this:

Click on ' expand messages'. Now you will see that your messages have expand to this:

If you scroll further down, you can also see the attachments from the messages.
This is what we want !!! Now we are going to use GetDown2000.
Click on the icon and click 'Rip'. GetDown2000 has now found
all the downloadable files from that page. But we only want the tubes.
So, tubes have a .tub extension. In GetDown2000 you will see this bar:

Change *.* in *.tub and GetDown2000 only selects
the tub-files from the page :-)

Click Download and you will get all the lovely tubes :-) If you are using this tut for, let's say, a font-group......change the *.* to *.ttf or *.zip

p.s. another handy tool after you've downloaded loadz of zipfiles
is ZipExploder. It extracts those downloaded zipfiles all at once !!
