"I was touched by the integrity of the man who owns the land on which the plane crashed, a scant 300 yards from his house. The power of the impact shifted his house and garage a full 1/4 to 1/2 inch off their respective foundations. His garage doors were blown inside out and backwards and the side of his buildings are pock-marked from explosive debris."

"As we sat in a local bar eating lunch, he asked us to respect his wishes and not photograph the inside or outside of his house or garage. We could shoot anything else and were welcome to wander anywhere. He told us how a major news organization offered him an enormous sum of money to film the wreckage of his house and he turned them down because he doesn’t want anyone making money off this tragedy. I admire that."
