To start with I used a white primer coat. On the horse I Base coated with an off white Low lighted with a golden-yellow Washed with a tan Highlighted with the base color and then a mix of the base and white
Slight highlight with white Main and tail were base coated with a deep gray Washed with a black Highlighted with the base coat Highlighted with medium gray Highlighted with light gray Hooves were base coated with a dark brown  Highlighted with light tan Leather strapping was base coated with an autumn gold (orange brown)  Washed with a medium brown Highlighted with the base coat The rest are base coated as you see them.
On the rider,Boots were base coated with a deep gray Washed with a black Highlighted with the base coat
Highlighted with medium gray Pants were base coated with a light red Washed with a deep red Highlighted with the base coat Highlighted with pink  Armor plates were base coated with a metal Covered with a thinned metallic green Highlighted with silver Chain armor was base coated with black Highlighted with the medium gray
Highlighted with light gray Highlighted with metal Highlighted with silver Hair was base coated with bright yellow Washed with a light tan Highlighted with the base coat Pants were base coated with a light red Washed with a deep red Highlighted with the base coat Highlighted with pink
The base was first coated with a deep green then coated with model train scenic coverings.
