Painting Contest and Rules
This contest is open to all members. For now, the only prize is bragging rights and a page for your work to be posted.
Good luck, if you decide to enter. Hopefully, this will help us all learn how to paint better, and more frequently.

1) Contests will start on the first of every month. Voting will be on every third friday of the month or roughly the 15th.

2) The figure should be a new project. Photographic records of the painting process are optional, but  would be very nice to have.

 3) Entrants must enter a front and rear view of the mini to be judged. Side views are optional.

 4) Photos should show plenty of details. Use your own judgment as to the size photo it will take.

5) Upload the photo to the club's album , or send the remote link of its location to Tathlum. Either way, to enter, we need the following in the e-mail:  PIC name, entrant's member name, and pic/location of the pic. (A remote link means, when the voter clicks on it, the pic pops up. We can't be searching through frames and such trying to figure out which one it is.)

 6) The people voting are the members of the club.  Judge the minis on the quality of the paint job, not the photography. Only one vote per person, so take your time and choose carefully.  E-mail your votes to Tathlum or any founder. We need your member name, the mini you're voting for, and a short explanation as to why you think it's the best.

 7) The winner will get a page with his or her mini photo and the chance to write an article on how they  painted the figure. The photographic records would come in handy here. The winner will be posted by  the 15th of the month.
