| We all know you're
a big Green Bay Packers' fan - so we thought the perfect tribute to you
on your day would be with a football theme. I designed the jersey
above myself and thought you'd get a kick out of it. We compiled
several warm sentiments from people all over the net in the hopes you see
it. We all share your celebrations and hope you have a memorable
one!!

| The very best to
you, Tony, on this fabulous day! Here is my gift to you--a personal poem:
Being a Shalhoub Inspired by acting at a young,
tender age
Creating of characters, people
well loved
You brought to the screens,
both large ones and small,
Always a gentleman, always
a friend,

of that immortal philosopher, Fernando: "It's not how you feel, but how
you look." And Tony Shalhoub, you look great! Happy Big 5-0!!

The spirit mellows; Ripe age gives tones to violins, Wine, and good fellows." --Trowbridge Tony, have a great birthday, a wonderful year, and a marvelous decade... Love, (Mrs.) Marie Johnson |

|
| You're the greatest,
Tony, especially now with your Golden Globes Award and your Emmy...what's
next!?
Your Monk character is so cute, loveable and funny (and irritating) - they ought to market a Monk teddy bear. Maybe a teddy bear that scowls and pulls back when you touch him and says, "Help! Sharona - wipes! Wipes!" Seriously though, I have a lot of respect for your talent and ability. Best of luck and Happy Birthday! Evelyn Dreiling, Vancouver, BC |

| The great baseball
player Satchel Paige once asked, "How old would you be if you didn't know
how old you are?" Birthdays are only numbers, Tony. It's what is in your
heart, your mind, and your soul that truly matters! There you will be always
young! Here's to you... Have a great birthday! How could you not!?

| Happy B'day, Mr.
Shalhoub!
Besides wishing you a happy birthday, I also want to thank you. It was last year during the first season of Monk that you changed my life. You are my idol and somehow, through watching you, you've inspired me to act. I've always had an interest in acting but you gave me that push that inspired me to really pursue it. As a junior in high school, in acting class we were assigned to pick an actor to study over the course of a month. (I obviously choose you.) Even though I'm a 16 yr old junior in high school, I have really developed a passion for theater. I could write forever but have to make this short. I hope you have a great birthday and thank you for the inspiration. --Evelyn R. |

| Hey Tony,
I just want you to know we care about you, and I think about you everyday. I love your show Monk. I think it's a cute and cool show for the whole family to see together. You are my favorite male actor, and I look up to you all the time. I'm so proud of you winning your Golden Globe award and your Emmy award for Monk. That night when you were at the Emmy Awards, I had a good feeling that you were going to win--and I was right. I was cheering for you, Tony,

|
| Dearest Mr. Shalhoub,
Thank you so much for sharing your gift with us, and Congratulations on your Emmy Award. Many, many happy birthday wishes to you. I hope that the next year will be filled with success, love, smiles, laughter and all good things. I'm so sorry to hear of your sadness; I am grieving the loss of my mother and understand the terrible pain bereavement brings. I'm keeping you and your family close in my thoughts and prayers. We will see our loved ones again. I hold onto that thought and send healing wishes and prayers your way. Kindest regards always,
|

|
| Tony,
Thank you so much for gracing our TV screens with much needed comedy. You make Friday nights a little brighter, a little funnier, and we wish you the best. Happy birthday! Sabrina and family, Texas |

|
| Tony:
"Life can't be counted in candles or measured in number of years; it's counted in small joys and good times and laugh lines, as well as in heartaches and tears. "Life can't be counted in candles, but in things done with effort and pride--with dreams followed boldly and hopes realized--as well as when we've failed, but tried...." Wishing you always: love to surround you, warm memories to cheer you, and happiness to fill your heart... Happy Birthday! Megan Clark |
