Fan Reviews

I did notice that -- and when he touched Sharona, it
was a lovely moment, like a singular gesture of trust.
I LOVE this relationship.

- Melody

I loved the ep! Although I understand she was irritated
by Monk during the psychic reading, I did think Sharona
was cruel to lick/bite Monk's hand. I didn't figure out
the ending, at least not exactly. I agree about Daniel,
the British guy. He's cute, *and* he has a dog! Two
qualities I like in a man! I loved the end when Monk
said he touched the poles to show his pride as an
American.

- Jennifer

You know, what is truly deep and wonderful about
this performance is that one can imagine how
profoundly he was hurt by her death...and is still hurt.
It resonates in his performance, without being
mentioned.

as a prisoner to solve a crime.

Facts About The Show or Characters

Did anyone else notice that the only people Monk
touched were Sharona and Benjy?  Sharona looked
surprised when he touched her. Since then though he
has touched Gail, Sharona's mom, Benjy and
Stottlemeyer

*  He mentioned that you take Cole to get to his
house (or apartment) and he also mentioned the
intersection of Cole and 17th St. Does anyoneknow
if those are real locations?

Gail lived once in Seattle and Sharona in Miami.

I compiled a little list of things I noticed about
Adrian and Sharona - you can find it here.  If you
have your own, please email me.

Detective Tami and her assistant Kim have found
some addresses for you - are we good or what?

Fans of the Show - A Bit About Us
(This is a small subsection - with thousands of fans
out there)

Kim Robarts
(Rothie1234, Presca)
The little obsessive web mistress of many of
these pages.  I adore the show and actor, Tony
Shalhoub, though still have a soft spot for Tim
Roth as well.  I adore to write and you can see
many of my fanfics here and there.  I'm 34 and
from Halifax, Nova Scotia.  I live in BC currently
with my mom and two cats.

Tami
I'm Japanese/American, a second-generation
Southern California native, married with no kids
at home (unless you count our no-account dog!).
My husband and I love going to the movies, we
see 20-30 movies every year, including all the
movies nominated for the best picture Oscar.
My favorite color is purple.

Tanya
(DragonLady)
I love programs like "X-files", "Highlander",
"Stargate", and even "Hercules & Xena". Shows
that have a weird twist, but delve into their
characters.

Keomi
(mariahcareyfan71084)
I live in Tulsa, Ok and I am a 18 year old sophmore
in college. I'll be 19 two weeks from tomorrow. I have
been a big fan of Monk forever. I love reading, hanging
out with friends, watching Monk of course, spending
time with family, and traveling.

Fan Ideas

What would you like for the show?

They should have an animated opening segment to
the show, where they could feature a little cartoon
Monk to Randy Newman's song, might be cute.

I'd also love to see Gail and Adrian solve a crime
together and learn about Sharona and Adrian's pasts.
Not to mention, I hope they round out the characters
of Stottlemeyer and Disher more.  And, more of
Benjy and Dr. Kroger.

- Presca

Much as I love it in writing, I'm not ready to see a
romance on screen yet. However, I'd love to see a
richer development of all the characters. I want to
see everyone really fleshed out, with complex histories
and emotions. They started to do that with Ted Levine's
character in the carnival episode, they need to do more.

- Tanya

I think Adrian and Sharona will make a funny and
cute couple so possibly see them get together.

- Keomi

I hope that we continue to learn about the
characters' backgrounds. I'd also like to see a
romantic relationship SLOWLY develop between
Adrian and Sharona.

- Allison

The Adrian and Sharona relationship is a popular source of hot debate on many message boards around the internet.

Fanfiction Excerpt from my story
"Mr. Monk and The Gail Force Wind"

“Oh – I see!” Dylan said, letting it finally sink in.
“So if you see a spider you run for your life?”
Adrian gritted his teeth.  “No, I have no fear of
spiders…”
“Heights, crowds, germs and milk actually!” Gail
answered.
Adrian could feel his blood pressure rise.  “Gail, I
don’t think they need a full encyclopedia version of my
life!”
“Milk?  Criminy!  But, it just like – sits there, it
doesn’t do anything.  Why on earth would you be afraid
of milk?” Dylan persisted.
Adrian just moaned and buried his head in his
hands.
Gail put her arms around him before he moved
away from her.
“Now – spiders.  Ewww!  Those furry little insects
with the eight arms and beady eyes…yuck!”
“Frankly, I think anything that comes out of that
end of the cow would be scary, if you think about it!”
Gail replied.
     Adrian couldn’t believe the conversation.
“It’s not because of the milk itself!” Adrian moaned.
“I believe in fact it is the bacteria!” Giles answered.
“As with most dairy products, the build up of which is
not always satisfactorily removed through the
pasteurization process!”
“Can we please talk about something else!” Adrian
said, bitterly.
