WHO SAYS VALENTINE'S IS JUST FOR LOVERS??

A toast -- to good friends!

In honour of Tim's film, I thought this fitting. I want to wish everyone all my love this Valentine's Day, I'm so very lucky to know and am getting to know such a wonderful bunch as you've all been. I never imagined I would make such friends as I have here! Thanks for all you've been to me - I hope I can be the same for all of you!    *HUGS and KISSES*

I thought since I was doing it in this fashion, I'd put a little note to what I think of each of you and what you all mean to me.  And for anyone who missed it, a dedication to the lurkers of the board at the bottom of the page, a funny parody of "Muskrat Love" entitled "LURKER LOVE":

Jim - My new chat bro, le silly sod.  What would the board be without you, you are the good cheer and humour that gets us through the hard times

Tim - It's not the same when you're gone, you fill us with love and insight.  I hope I can get to know you better. Thanks for being there!!!  The commander of the posse!

Bonnie - One of my chat sisters.  Always armed with a ready hug and a quick smile, it's fun when you're there. And, a little wild.

Pam - The Canadian sister contigency, always willing to lend a good ear and a few insights into life up north.  A joy to know in real life.

LeeAnn - Our resident horse fan.  Your words always enrich me with your care and concern for fairness on the board.

Dana - A lady I'm just starting to learn more about and hope to learn more, you have a passion for who you are, I like that.

Virginia - Who can beat your Snoopy dance?  A lady with which I have great respect, one of the true denizens of the board who's shown great stamina in the face of diversity as many have to the WZ Board.

Arianna - I haven't ceased to be awed what an amazing young lady you are, I hope to get to know you more.  You're inspiring with your continued strength.

Katie - You made the board a bit of a thrill for a bit there, you're enthusiasm is infectious, hope you stay around.

Larry - The poet and resident songster.  Your words always move me, I look forward to reading your thoughts as they spill from your computer keyboard.

Charlotte - My second chat sister.  Such a smart and sweet force of the board.  Your always alert with news from all over and I admire your saavy.

Meagan - You're so much fun to talk to on the board and off, it's so nice to see the kind of energy and fun you bring to the board.

Patricia - The lady from Brazil.  I love hearing from you, though you've been absent of late, it's always great hearing your sunny and warm sentiments.

Jia-xi - The lady from the Orient, our resident bookseller.  There, ready to offer a hand no matter what and a kind word when someone needs it.  Hope you get a chance to translate the book!

Margaret - A lady with all heart.  One of the loveliest people I know from off the board, though she is in a majority of others in that sense it seems.  She continues to be a gentle voice to the board.

Rose - The flower of the board.  With much turmoil to find the strength to perserve, I admire where you are and where you're going.  A good listener and a well spoken person to the board.

Love always, your friend Kim

P.S.  Note the band around the bicep of the beaver on the left, Tim you never said you were playing a Canadian in your next movie?  Amazing what makeup artists can do these days!!  Doesn't even look like you - but the trademark band was a dead give away!!

THIS MESSAGE BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE CRAZY CANUCK GIRL, INC. (and no, that's not me and Pam)

WHEW - Please tell me I remembered everyone this time, or I'll have to resort to crying in my beer!

HERE - Is my song LURKER LOVE for those who missed it:

LURKER LOVE:

Yup, yup - and here to present my love for the lurkers - Capped Teeth and Toenail (the beavers from the card, making a return appearance...)

"For our next piece, we're going to play LURKER LOVE! - none of that schmaltzy MUSKRAT LOVE! - we're not talking to the muskrats after that incident with the habatchi (grill) down by the creek --"

'Lurker, lurker candlelight
Doin' the board and doin' it right
In the evenin'
It's pretty pleasin'

Lurker Susie, Lurker Sam
Do the jitterbug out in WZ Land
And they shimmy
And Sammy's so saavy

And they whirled and they twirled and they tangoed
chattin' and gabbin' the lingo
Floatin' like the heavens above
It looks like lurker love

Nibbling on cheetos, chewin' on cheese
Sammy says to Susie "Honey, would you please be my cyberpet?"
And she say yes
With her kisses

And now he's ticklin' her mousey
Rubbin' her toes
Muzzle to muzzle, now anything goes on cyberspace
As they wriggle, and Sue starts to giggle

And they whirled and they twirled and they tangoed
chattin' and gabbin' the lingo
Floatin' like the heavens above
It looks like lurker love

La da da da da ...'

"Thank you, thank you very much! - we take requests - remember us for your next barmitzva"

See this is what happens when you have the imagination of an author and the stimulus of Jim.

"When Good Authors Go Bad" on the next Jerry Springer!!
