If hearts were pockets yours would be deep,
Room for so much in this pocket you reap.
A place to hide, a place to grow,
A place to be when life feels low,
But also a place to build and dream,
A place to paint beautiful scenes
Your heart is a pocket deep and wide,
So much kindness and love inside.
So many times your pockets been torn,
With strength from above, a new pocket is born.
It grows and it stretches until large in size,
And you gather from life all that you prize.
And you tuck it all into the pocket of treasures,
To share with all there ? your offered pleasures.
Your caring and love, your mind and your soul,
So willingly given , but with gentle control.
Deep pocketed heart so full of zest,
Worn from pain and needing a rest.
