A story on my favorite 'Lion King' Character Scar, and up to the point of Kovu's inheritance to the throne.
Due to the graphic nature of this story, I advise readers under 16 to close the window.
Its a toss-up rating between 'R' and 'NC-17'. But I'll leave that to the moderaor to decide though.
...From birth to death Taka continues the cycle of rejection and hatred.
This is the story of his miserable life a few years before hyena fangs buried themselves into his neck.
Unlike his brother, Mufasa, who was presented in front of the kingdom, Taka was merely set aside and
placed as the 'accident' in the family. His mother rarely nursed him, and always told him to "Mind his brother".
This type of treatment was somewhat nurturing in comparison to his father, Ahadi, who hated Taka
with a passion. So much so, that it almost cost him his life.
One bright sunny day, while he was innocently rough-housing with Mufasa, Taka accidentally swiped him
with his paw, cutting him slightly. Mufasa enjoyed seeing his younger brother get in trouble; Only to make himself
look like "the better cub". He whined to Ahadi about how Taka hurt him. Enraged, Ahadi braced Taka's small body
by the stomach, and took him to a secluded region of the Pride. His heart raced with fear and tension,
unsure of what his father might do to him. He dropped Taka from his mouth, and glared at him evilly.
"What makes you think you can harm my beloved son?!" He roared.
"--I didn't mean to, we were just playing! I---"
Young Taka paused and noticed his father's outstretched paw; He pushed out his claws while he tried to explain.
Taka's heart froze; No explination could save him from his eternal punishment.
His father was going to kill him, and that was all there was to it. With a mighty roar,
Ahadi tore open the side of his face, now gashing with crimson blood. He viciously punctured his already softened skin, ripping out some patches of fur, and flesh.
The violent sounds of tearing flesh, and breaking bones were reminisent of snapped twigs, leaving the poor cub to look like a fresh kill.
Taka collapsed from the intense pain, there was only so much his fragile body could take.
Ahadi stopped harming him, assuming he was already dead.
At last through his brutal beating, Taka struggled to open his eyes, to see his father's next action. Ahadi spat on him, and left his son lying in the dried grass.
"Goodbye Taka, you loathsome accident."
Taka opened his swollen eye to see him walk away from his mangled corpse. He waited until Ahadi completely
left from sight, to cry softly, and die in peace.

Ahadi walked back to Pride Rock with his head hung low, but his spirit high. He had to fool the members of the Pride, and create a story about why he came home without his son.
"Dear dear family......I have many sorrows to tell you. My son Taka, is dead."
A few lionessess murmered in shock, others shrugged,-- many of them couldn't care less about him.
Mufasa lowered his head, and sobbed softly. His wife Dyimina collapsed to the ground in sadness, then gazed at her mate for an explination.
"While going out to punish Taka about his behavior, the both of us were ambushed by packs of hyenas.
Taka was killed instantly, I had no chance to save him."
Mufasa began to roar in sadness, while Dyimina looked at Ahadi solemnly.
She didn't believe his story for one minute, but she could never verbally accuse her mate of lying, for it would shame him.
Mufasa went over to comfort his mourning mother.
"It'll be okay mom. You still have me though."
The two just looked on at Ahadi, while Dyimina read his false sobs.
* * *
Not long after Ahadi nearly slaughtered young Taka, a mother hyena stood over him.
Frightened, Taka tried to move, so she couldn't finish him off, for her meal.
Much to his suprise, however, the hyena was filled with compassion, and took the dying cub back to the
elephant graveyard where she lived.
There, she had three onlooking hyena cubs staring at what their mother brought back for them.
"What is it, Mama?! A gazelle?"
-"No Banzai, you idiot, it looks like a baby tiger!"
"Stop that you two!" Their mother interrupted. "This is Taka, Mufasa's brother."
Banzai, and his sister Shenzi looked at each other in awe.
-"We're gonna eat Taka for dinner?!"
"Ugh, no Banzai. I found Taka in the outlands, dying. His father tried to kill him, but you mustn't tell anyone I know this.
Ahadi might kill me if I knew the truth."
"Mama, what will we do with him?" Shenzi asked.
"Taka will be like your best friend now. We're going to take care of him until he gets well, so treat him better than you would Banzai or Ed. Got that?"
"Yeah ma."
Over the next four months, Taka's body began to heal rapidly. All of the broken bones were healed,
and the exposed, pink skin, and sores on his back was now covered in fur.
He looked just as he did before....with the exception of a large, white scar that covered his left eye.
There was also another difference; Over the course of those months, Taka went from a playful cub,
to a thin adolescent lion with a trail of smooth black mane hair growing down his spine.
The change in his personality over the course of those months transformed from forgiveness, into hatred for his family.
In that time he, along with the many other hyenas he befriended, agreed to "Get revenge" somehow.
He decided that it was time to leave the hyena family, as he knew he would be in their debt forever. Taka promised to return soon, but unsure of when.
He returned to Pride Rock with a limp in his leg, and an apprehensive look on his face.
What would everyone think of my return? Would they even want me back? Would Ahadi banish me again?
The thoughts seemed to encircle his head, until finally he reached the foot of the Rock.
Mufasa was the first to recognize his own brother. He exclaimed in delight as his beloved brother returned.
Mufasa soon had everyone clamoring outside to wonder what was happening.
"Its Taka! Taka ! where have you been?!" His brother squealed.
Dyimina gave a sigh of exaspiration in honor of her son's return. She still held on to the wishful notion that her son
might still be alive. Ahadi, said, nor gave any expression of "happiness" to see his son come back. He just stood there,
motionless.
-"Oh Taka, I prayed to the kings of the Stars for your safe return!"
Mufasa stared at Taka's composition.
"....Oog, what happened to your face, Taka?"
Suddenly Ahadi snapped out of his motionless state and gave Taka the look of death if he revealed the truth.
"Uh......I was chasing off a cheetah who was invading my privacy."
Mufasa snickered, as there was yet another chance to make fun of his brother.
"Come on, Scar, lets play!"
-"Mufasa, my name is Taka!"
"Well I think the name Scar fits you much better. Look at you, Scar!"
"Scar" snarled a little, not taking any of it lightly. Ahadi smiled slightly at his son's misfortune.
" I won't take anymore of this! I'll leave you all for good, and create my own pride."
-"You do that, Scar. We won't miss you." Ahadi objected coldly.
Scar turned to leave his family who rejected him once again.
Dyimina was very close to chasing after him, but Ahadi stopped her.
"Its time for him to make his own Pride anyway. He might be a little young, but he needs to grow up."
And with that, Taka, now known as "Scar" to his family, left his family, to make his own.
* * *
Unsure of what to do now, Scar looked at his list of options: He could go back to his hyena family,
he could plan to kill off everyone in the pride, or he could commit suicide, and this thing would all be over with.
He realized that the first two were really out, he owes his hyena family, and he can't just be a "free lancer".
Then attempting to kill off the entire pride would be silly considering he's greatly outnumbered.
Then there was suicide.
Theres nothing wrong with getting rid of a waste of life. He thought.
Being dead would actually do more good than harm. One less mouth to feed, and an extra meal for some wandering vultures.
Cursing his family while sitting in an abandoned cave, he gazed upon a young lioness in his perception.
She was as beautiful as Sarabi, but with something a little more. Suddenly Scar's life found new meaning;
If he could make this wonderful lioness his, he could create an opposing Pride family against Mufasa's, and
claim Pride Rock as his own. He approached her, desperately attempting to make her his.
"Before you say anything, I want to tell you, that you are the most beautiful creature I have ever laid eyes on.
What is your name?"
Shocked and flattered, the young lioness replied
"Zira, my name is Zira. Who are you?"
"I am Scar. A reject child of the Royal family. I--"
-"Taka?"
"Yes. But I won't go by that name anymore. Zira, this is hard for me to ask, but will you--"
Before he could even finish the sentence, she presented to him.
Scar nearly fainted at the hypnotic smell of her body. Her juicy, swollen opening was throbbing with her
sweet tangy scent, indicating that she was never loved before, and desired it greatly. Zira turned around
momentarily, to stare at Scar, and quickly noticing the unsheathing of his penis.
"Go on Scar, I want this as much as you do."
As he began to mount her, Scar comforted her with a massage on her back with his front paws. Zira purred softly.
Gyrating a little to find her sex, she moaned in pleasure. Scar gently penetrated on the second attempt to enter her.
He slid his member in slowly, so not to hurt his beloved virgin.
He was only a youthful adult, and had already succeeded in finding the most beautiful mate in the world.
The next 76 hours were a blur; With Zira, time was irrelevant, and they kept indulging in the trading of their sexual fluids.
Near the end of mating periods, when they were all tired out from screwing each other dry, Zira had a tendancy to lay down "frog style". Scar would lie behind her, with her rump in his face, and her hind legs spread. He enjoyed taking his drooling tongue across her exausted opening to further please her.
Scar was barely one year old, when Zira concieved. Seeing her pregnant, filled his heart with worry. "How could I provide a better pride for my family to live in?"
Not long after that, Ahadi died, and Mufasa became king. Even though Scar was exiled under Ahadi's rule, Mufasa allowed him to come back to the Pride, but he still hadn't told him about Zira. He knew he'd better do it soon, before his child was born.
"Mufasa, I have to tell you something, my mate Zira is expecting, and ---"
-"You impregnated that wretched Zira?! You can't bring her into my Pride! The lionessess all hate her!
As my brother, I can let you back into the Pride, but that dirty tramp must stay in the outlands."
Scar agreed to come back, but he would never leave Zira. She was the only one who accepted him from the beginning.
After he told her the news, she too, began to hate Mufasa.
It was then decided that "Dear Brother" must die. Zira eventually gave birth to a son whom she named "Nuka".
As time passed, Scar saw that Nuka was too interdependant on Zira to inherit the throne, so they decided to mate again in hope for another son.
She immediatly concieved again, but with a daughter. Scar loved his new daughter "Vitani".
She was alive, and beautiful like Zira, and inherited Scar's intellegence.
But alas, he could not give heir to his daughter.
Distraught, Scar spent sometime alone in the dank Outlands, and heard somthing in the distance.
He found a little baby cub, abandoned, and left to die. This brought back terrible memories for him, but filled his heart with compassion for the cub.
He took a peek at the cub's hindquarters, and saw it was a boy. This was the answer he was looking for!
This cub could inherit the throne! Scar knew Zira couldn't handle another child, but took him back anyway.
This cub would be under his care only. He eventually named him "Kovu" and gave him heir to Scar's throne.
The 5 of them now continued the cycle of hate and rejection, as a family.......or so they thought.
