Like I've said, I've been spending a large, scary majority of my time working on another site I have, and now I've recently begun work on two more new ones, so you can probably expect the time between updates to be rather lengthy for a time. Sorry again. Whoo, alright, let's see what we have; little bit of new art by J.C., Lia Smazik, Mau Rauser, Snowy, and Vitani Da Real. Due to a special request by the artist herself, Myra Weber's gallery has been taken down. Posted a forth short story titled, "Reign of Vengeance", by Zuri Cheetah for the fiction archive. Put up two new rant responses. While we're on the topic of rants, by the by, please note that the "Simba's Pride" rant has been taken down for the time being, since I wrote it years ago and its immaturity is beginning to bug me. If I find the time, I'll try to rewrite it. Also got a request to post a new link, however I haven't been able to view it yet, myself, because my browser is being rather ass-wipish and not loading things. As a result, there's currently no discription or title for this new link, so I can't even begin to tell you what's on it, since I have yet to see it. I also finally got off my lazy ass and, despite my loathing and distate for Internet Explorer, rewrote some slight code so the site now looks half-decent on it. I hate Explorer, I tell you. . . | Thursday, February 28, 2002 | Whoo. Let's hear it for the second update in two weeks. It looks like we might be getting back on track, people. Not a ton of revisions today, but let's see what we have:
Recieved four new pieces of art from Meaghan Edwards. Another short story titled, "Zuri's Lover", by Zuri Cheetah for the fiction archive. I'm trying to get a hold of some more fiction, but some stuff in general is being a difficult and causing delays as a result. Bah to that. Alright, spent the last couple of days revamping the rant, in a big, totally rewriting kind of way, for a couple reasons, the main one being that I wrote it some years back and after reading it now, I realized it was becoming a tad too imature for my tastes. I like to believe I've grown somewhat out of my five year old "I'm Ruler of the Universe and All Should Kiss My Ass and Listen to Me" stage. Here's hoping this more tactfull approach will help mellow disgruntled flamers. Yes, before you begin to throw plates of jello mold at my head, I have noted once more the length between revisions. And yes, I do know that I promised last time that there'd be no more scary gaps like recently anymore. *Shame* I repeatedly beat myself sharply with my brother's size eleven shoe with my apologies to everyone. *Deep breath* As it's becoming obvious that my attempts to keep my neglection of this site in check is futile, I'm encouraging all of your help. Lots of things have been going on. . .I'm ashamed to say I've been somewhat sidetracked with a new site I've made which tends to take up a lot of my time, and when I'm not doing that I'm at school or working. Extreamly sorry for my recent neglect of the site. You all have permission to beat me to death with rusty crowbars. Try to do it with a smile though. Got a truck load of fan art that's been piling up in my files. My apologies once more to all the artists. Let's see, we have some more by JC, Lia Smazik, Mau Rauser, Sheba tha Cub, Snowy, Laurie Brown, Tallon, and Dare, which brings his total to four which means he now his own gallery. *Gasp wheeze* *Deep breath* I told you, lotta' new art. Some new pieces of fiction as well, by four new, wonderful authors. I've been missing out on my Scar-reading lately. . .that'll never do. . . Found some more rant responses sent in from over a month ago, as well a fairly recent one. While we're on that particular note, does anyone know of any other Scar oriented sites that aren't listed here? I'm still on the search for more. Alright. . .I think that's about it for today. . . I know what you're thinking - "Sure, she gives us some nice revisions every now and then and then disappears for another two months without a word." Gah! No! That's not what I'm trying to do! Also, I was sifting through my inbox and came across a piece by an artist, KS Claw. Man, I feel like slime. My most ashamed apologies to the artist - I know you sent this to me to be posted ages ago. I most likely got busy with something and it slipped my mind, as so many things often do. My bad. So so so so sorry. *Denies herself today's daily chocolate chip cookie in punishment* *Sigh* My bad. Again. Came across another e-mail, this time with a rant response that I forgot to post when I first recieved it. Again, very sorry. Although I had to unfortunately reset the quizlet so it's now back at 1. *Sigh* I also changed my guestbook from the geocities one to another kind, because geocities was really starting to piss me off. | |
| Saturday, November 4, 2000 | Finally got up the new page - welcome, to Scar: The True Lion King v2.0! I thought the other layout and design was starting to look old and, uh, just all around crappy. I'm much happier with this new one - it's easier to navigate, takes shorter time to download, and it just looks a lot better, in my personal opinion. All of the same information and items that were on the old page are on this one, although some of it has been moved around slightly. Tell me what you think of the new site! I want to know if it was worth the grueling pain and hours of wailing and teeth gnashing. |

| Okaaaay. . .I finally get it up and I discover some things just stopped working, such as the guestbook, the quizlet, AND my intro movie *snarls*. Looks like I still have some bugs to work out. Check back in a couple of days, I should have everything as good as new by then. *Sigh* |
