May 14, 2001:
Car and Driver, June 2001: The $46K (If you can get it at that price) E46 M3 goes head-to-head with the $71K (Yikes!!) M-B CLK55 AMG and gives it a whippin' (Stick with the Luxo-cruisers, M-B!)... As expected, the Laguna Seca Blue M3 (I guess they can't all be RED...) clearly beats the CLK55 in the categories that WE care about: engine, tranny, brakes, handling, and drving fun... 'Nuff Said!

April 16, 2001:
Coming May 15, 2001: The 3-Series Enthusiast's Companion (No, I don't mean Nicole Kidman...) by Jeremy Walton, from Robert Bentley Publishing...
Very likely a "must have" for the 3-Series fanatic... I've ordered mine already...!

April 15, 2001:
BMW-Williams wins the San Marino Grand Prix!! After 15 years, BMW is back at the top of the Formula One podium as Ralf Schumacher dominates McLaren and Ferrari...
Ralf passed polesitter McLaren driver David Coulthard on the first corner at Imola and never looked back...

April 10, 2001:
BMWUSA has a cool web site www.bmwusfactory.com that describes their manufacturing processes at the Spartanburg, SC factory... Definitely worth a look...

The May issue of Road & Track (haven't bought it yet) reviews the 330i (Automatic?? Why??) vs. the Lexus IS300, M-B C320, and Volvo S60 T5... Surprisingly, the IS300 wins... Not on performance, which the 330i clearly wins, but on being less expensive... They should've used the 325i, which only suffers a only horsepower deficit to the IS300... Though the scoring might be a tad closer, the 325i would've beat the IS300 on performance AND price...

Received this year's first issue of BMW Magazine, BMW's "What's Up and What's New" magazine for BMW owners, released three time a year...
This issue's main stories: Safety features and crash tests from the IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) and a review of BMW-Williams' 2000 Formula One season...

April 8, 2001:
Revised and added some new pics in my BMW Reviews section... The yellow M3 was nice, but this red one is absolutely awesome...

April 5, 2001:
Added new pics of my current BMW in the My BMWs section... Not bad looking for a near-seven-year-old car, eh?
More pics of a beauty... Oh yeah, the Mini Cooper isn't bad, either... :)

March 28, 2001:
I've added two new web sites to my growing list of links... Check 'em out!
The new E46 Compact debuts!! If I ever get done with my income taxes, maybe I'll be able to review it... Enjoy the pics!

March 19, 2001:
Changed over to 100Megsfree as my web site host, 'cause Tripod shut me down (with absolutely no warning) for apparently having the above ad banners... I guess they wanted to monpolize and control the mindless drivel, i.e., advertising, on their web sites...
Good Riddance, Tripod! Hello, 100Megsfree! So far I've had no problems (Okay, it only has been a couple of days...), and their tech support has been very helpful and even kind enough to welcome me into their group... Keep up the good work guys!

March 14, 2001:
Monumental Update! All pics for the two Mini BMW galleries are bigger and better, plus a third gallery has been added... Enjoy!

March 12, 2001:
The April 2001 issue of Grassroots Motorsports features the history of the ///M cars, from the M1 to the new E46 M3
The March 2001 Roundel reviews the history of the short-lived but successful V12 LMR plus a history of BMW's involvement in prototype racing

February 12, 2001:
Two magazines this month that are worth a look (Of course, I bought 'em...):
Bimmer has a review of the E46 M3... BMW brings back the Mini Cooper... A review of the 2000 ALMS season

BMW Power reviews the E46 M3 (Isn't everyone??)... A feature on two classic BMWs: the 2002tii and the 2002 turbo... Plus, a 3-series buying guide

January 24, 2001:
Added new pics to the BMW Gallery, including those from a 25-year old 2002 brochure... Despite the unusual orange color (by today's standards), it's still a terrific looking car...

January 23, 2001:
I'm slowly but surely updating the pics in my web site, after several complaints about their size and quality... The downside will be that they'll take longer to load, but they'll be worth the wait, eh? Along with updating the pics, I've added new ones wherever I could... Enjoy! ...More Bimmers to come!

January 15, 2001:
New road test: Road & Track, February 2001: To introduce its new larger format (a gimmick to jack up the cost, I think), another stunning red E46 M3 is road tested... Against a Corvette Z06 and Porsche 911 no less! Definitely an issue to add to your Bimmer collection... Buy it!

From 2000:

December 12, 2000:
The accolades keep-a-comin': Car & Driver, January 2001: Perrenial "Best 10" cars, the 3-series and 5-series, make the list yet again...
Luxo-Sedan comparison: The 325i (red, yet again) bests the Audi A4 Quattro, boy-toy Lexus IS300, Volvo S60 T5, M-B C240, and Saab 9-3, proving again that the 3-series is STILL the car to beat...

December 4, 2000:
Another M3 Alert! The January 2001 issue of European Car has its first review of the E46 M3... Red, of course... Enjoy!!

November 20, 2000:

Plus: In-car reviews of the M3 and Porsche GT3R racers from the ALMS (American Le Mans Series) GT-class... Don't miss it!!

November 16, 2000:
New pics of an absolutely terrific RED E46 M3 in the November edition of the Roundel:
